Tomo Floor Lamps by Toshiyuki Kita for Luci Italy 1985 "1 SOLD"

Lighting
These rare Postmodern "Tomo" floor lamps were designed for the Italian lighting company, Luci by the celebrated Japanese designer, Toshiyuki Kita. They feature an adjustable halogen reading lamp with a vibrant demilune, lacquered metal shade on the end of a black powder coated arm. This arm is capped at its other end with a bright red plastic sphere that acts as both an on/off switch and dimmer control. The arm sits atop a thick black powder coated pole that curves at the bottom and is fixed to a black powder coated base. The Relco dimmer in-line floor unit itself is housed in a black plastic unit midway along the cord. The lamps are in good vintage condition overall and is fully signed to the base.
